Pregnancy Loss

“It is only by putting our losses into words, is it possible to understand their impact on us and begin to heal from them.”
Kim Kluger-Bell Unspeakable Losses (http://www NULL.amazon NULL.com/Unspeakable-Losses-Miscarriage-Abortion-Pregnancy/dp/068817390X)

Losing a baby during pregnancy is a life-altering experience that few of us are prepared to cope with. Intense grief, guilt, anger, fear and shame are common reactions that can linger for weeks, months or even years following these losses.
Unfortunately, it is often difficult to talk about these experiences with others—even with those closest to you. And yet, even in our darkest hours, we need to talk about these experiences in order to find our way back into the light.

I know, I have been there myself. And I have accompanied many others through these dark times.

Sometimes a pregnancy loss can re-awaken other losses—in which case it can be useful to explore those losses in psychotherapy. Other times, the current loss simply needs to be fully grieved or the prospect of another pregnancy creates such intense anxiety that a helping hand is needed.

In any of these cases I can be there for you.

My book, Unspeakable Losses (http://www NULL.amazon NULL.com/Unspeakable-Losses-Miscarriage-Abortion-Pregnancy/dp/068817390X), is also available in paperback through Amazon.com.
